Op donderdag 11 oktober 2018 is in het Testcentrum voor Complexe Revalidatie-Technologie van Adelante een bijeenkomst georganiseerd rond het thema ‘Co-creatie van robotondersteunde revalidatiebehandeling’.
Vijfendertig therapeuten, technici en onderzoekers van diverse revalidatiecentra, ziekenhuizen, universiteiten en hogescholen uit Nederland, België en Duitsland discussieerden over richtlijnen, voorwaarden en mogelijkheden om robotica in te zetten om de training van arm-handvaardigheid van patiënten met een beroerte te verbeteren en nieuwe therapieën te ontwikkelen. Deze bijeenkomst is een onderdeel van het zogenaamde i2-CoRT project (www.i2-CoRT.eu) dat mede gefinancierd wordt vanuit het Interreg V-A Euregio Maas-Rijn (EMR) programma dat bijna 100 miljoen investeert in de ontwikkeling van dit Interreg-gebied in de periode tot 2020.

Successful meeting ‘Co-creation of robot-assisted rehabilitation treatment’
On thursday 11th of October 2018 a meeting was organized in the Test Center for Complex Rehabilitation Technology at Adelante on the theme ‘Co-creation of robot-assisted rehabilitation treatment’. Thirty-five therapists, technicians and researchers from various rehabilitation centers, hospitals, universities and universities colleges from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany discussed guidelines, prerequisites and possibilities to use robotics to improve the arm-hand training of patients who suffered a stroke and to develop new therapies. This meeting is part of the so-called i2-CoRT project (www.i2-CoRT.eu) which is co-financed by the Interreg VA Euregion Meuse-Rhine (EMR) program that invests almost 100 million in the development of this Interreg area in the period up to 2020.
